Do I need to install an extension or app?
No. eSaveFrom runs entirely in your browser tab — there is no extension, desktop app, or account. Nothing to install is the whole point: paste a link, and the page does the rest.
Do you store the videos I download?
No. Files transfer from the platform's own servers to your device. eSaveFrom never uploads, hosts, or caches your media, and it doesn't keep a history of the links you paste.
Is eSaveFrom free?

What quality can I download?
Whatever the source platform actually provides — eSaveFrom lists the real available formats and never upscales. For many YouTube videos that means up to 1080p or 4K, while TikTok tops out at 1080p and SoundCloud is audio only.
Is it legal to download videos?
It depends on the content and how you use it. Saving your own uploads, public-domain works, or Creative Commons material is generally fine; redistributing someone else's copyrighted video is not. You are responsible for having the right to save what you download.
