How to download a TikTok video without the watermark

TikTok adds a moving watermark — the TikTok logo and the creator's username — on top of most videos. It's baked into one of the renditions the platform serves, but not all of them. Saving the clean version is a matter of choosing the right file.

Why the watermark is there

The watermark exists to attribute a clip when it's reshared off-platform. That's useful, but it also covers part of the frame and moves around, which is distracting if you're saving your own video or a clip you have the right to reuse.

Saving the clean file with eSaveFrom

  • Copy the video link from the TikTok app or website.
  • Paste it into eSaveFrom — short links like vm.tiktok.com are followed automatically.
  • Choose the rendition labelled no watermark; eSaveFrom selects the clean file for you.
  • Save the original audio separately if you want just the sound.

One honest caveat: the clean rendition is served at whatever quality the uploader posted, usually up to 1080p. No tool can add quality that isn't in the source. Respect the creator's rights and only reuse content you're allowed to.
